Bombing Fighting Squadron ONE-FIVE-TWO (VBF-152)


Bombing Fighting Squadron ONE-FIVE-TWO (VBF-152) was commissioned on 5 March 1945, at NAS Wildwood, New Jersey. On 2 May 1942, the squadron was transferred to NAF Groton, Connecticut.
The Squadron was assigned to Air Group ONE-FIVE-TWO, along with VF-152, VB-152 and VT-152. As of 1 May 1945, and despite being commissioned and spending much of its short career on the East Coast, VBF-152, as well as its entire Air Group, was part of the Pacific Fleet.
VBF-152 was disestablished on 21 September 1945.
